SUMMER 2011=)

We are waiting for summer as if it's the only good thing about the year..and finally it's coming..!!! In August I ll go to england...precisely to London, but just for 2 weeks.. !I' ve never been there so i hope it ll be an unforgettable holiday..also because I ll make friends with new people!!

For the remaining months I think i ll go to the sea with my family or friends! But separate to the holiday in London i just want to relax and live day-for-day this summer and do something different because this summer must be special=)

Even if it doesn't really look like may is over and summer is in the air...

I ' m getting ready to say goodbye to my dear desk , to empty my mind from bad thoughts and also my schoolbag from books.

I won't go anywere, i just want to relax, to feel free. 

So here we are, i' m looking again for a small part of sand when i can roll out my towel and build the sandcastles of  my expectations for a better summertime... 

I want to put in my travel bag just my wish of having fun, because in fact  the wave that break on our castles is the need of making projects

        

  

We want to plan everything, what we can' t prevent ...

The best instruction to feel good is to have not...

Comunication..especially in the last years, has become very important and widespread in particular between the teen that can't live without the computer (with internet). telephone..Obviously even here there are negatives and positive aspects:


-We don't write anymore letters..infact we prefer e-mails or social networks;

-Technology makes every thing easyer;

-We can lose all of  old values of life;

-One bad effect of technology on life Is that  technology place walls between people;

-With techonolgy meet someone face to face has become rare;

-In the net we can meet lots of  perverts and bad people;

TECHNOLOGY by *I

Technology,whose first purpose was to help men to clear the hurdles given by nature,has become the emblem of  the power of human intelligence.

There are different uses of this knowledge, from giving medical advice to sharing information but I think that the most interesting one is the employement as a way to interact with others.

In a society ruled by frenzied pace we aren't even the boss of our lifes so every single day we feel like there is less time to waste to communicate...

Technology started developing with the speed of light as a consequence of this new need of speaking in record times and become the best way to narrow the gap between people.                         


                                                                           

Nevertheless it has lots of positive aspects, its biggest fault is that in fact it isn't able to transmit emotions or to give information...

An example??? if someone writes us a letter and after we receive the same message sent by  mail ; even if  words are the same we surely understand different things. This happens because it' s easy to misunderstand the real sense of something written without punctuation or full of abbreviations.
Moreover from details like the script,the perfume and the colors of the paper it' s possible to acheive information about the writer, whereas this isn't possible in a text.





Moreover we can also say that if from this point of view technology has helped to connect people, from another one it is contributing to make people more lonely (thanks to the comfort that it offers people renounce to meet,to stay together and to dialogue)and lots of them are becoming less able to show who they really are because lots try to conceal themselves behind their nick names or something like that..

BUT SURELY IT'S BETTER THAN SENDING THESE KIND OF MESSAGES!!!

Surely  her dream was ivory,got a 2,70 m  train and was ready- made by sara burton...try to guess!!!
if you haven't understood what it is (even if it' s really unlikely) I'm talking about the wedding gown  that Catherine Elizabeth, the princess of this day and age, wore on the 29° April 2011, when she said "i do" to William Arthur Philip Louis,the offspring of the Windsor family,the most famous and well-like lineage of the world...

Now that 14 years had passed  from the funeral of lady D., luckily Westminster Abbey is anew the scene of an happy event: there the newly weds crowned their love under the eyes of 2 billions people that watched the ceremony at the tv....

i think that there are lots of  the reasons for wich this marriage had been so much followed:

1.  is that for the first time in the story the princess isn' t a blue-blooded snotty one, but the typical next door girl,the classical english rose that with her simplicity,her sophisticated attitude and her smile found his way in people's heart...                 
2. it's evident that kate is a firm women and not a brainless lady that say always yes just to please people.In fact she promised to love and comfort his husband but not to obey him (exactly like Princess Diana said in her speech).                                                                                                                                                                                   

3. She perfectly embody the role of  "modern princess" and her arrive is like a breath of fresh air in the royal family, that broadened its horizons...she his the demo that everything is possible if we dream and wish it... 
4. It doesn't look (to me) that this union had been arranged...I hate the invidious people that say that she tried to make advantage from his social condition...in fact i believe that she doesn' need it.
5. She's discrete and reserve,she has always been herself and she didn't try  to replace lady D. but she wanted to gain people 's fondness and she managed to acheive her goals

There is no point in talking about dresses,the myriad of  wedding attendant,their rum hat, the dolls of the weds,and the cerimony in general because it was a fairytale...

                                                                                                                                                               guys,you know that love is in the air so if you don't wanna take a chance of being hit by cupid's arrow stop dreaming because this wedding is the demo that can happen if we want it...what we tought it was unimaginable too...just decide what sort of stuff give to your dream and your life,your personal tailor, will sew it for you...

MADRID: red,yellow and fun in the heart

Hi guys!!!what' s up???
everything good here!!!I've just come back from madrid and i already miss it :-(!!! it's incredible what beautiful it is... i walked around the town for 5 days; 24 h but i didn't mind about my swollen feet...all the weariness has been balanced out by the delight of visiting a place like that...

 WHAT WAS THE WEATHER LIKE???

My classmates and I had a really good time there.Before leaving I thought it would be cold and windy but in fact the column of mercury read 29° and the "madrileño" sun shone upon huge squares dressed of flowery gardens and water fountains.

                               THE CITY

Streets are full of period properties that now accomodate little shops,hotels and restaurants where it's possible to taste typical food like paella,churros,chorizo and sangria ( if you love eating spicy it's the right place for you).

                                                                                                           

FIREFLIES AT NIGHT:

Madrid never hits the sack before 4am so there is no difference beetwen day and night...At night it looks like a trail of fireflies had gone off upon the city: the squares fill up on outdoor coffees and the light of the lanterns placed on the tables stages magical colour effects .The first day I was shocked because when we arrived it was night( 1:00 am):plaza Mayor was floodlit and streets were full of people drinking or walking the dogs...

HOW TO MOVE???

 I had got to change my mind about hunging out at night because i had imagined it would be difficult or dangerous but luckily the city was just lively, funny, and never chaotic,could be thanks to the extensive transport network that permits to go to and fro at any hour without any difficult...

PEOPLE

But this frenetic rhythm doesn' have any repercussions on the behaviour of citiziens.People are willing and warm-hearted and they never get impatients not even if you ask them for directions while they are in hurry or are roller skating or cycling. From this habits it's easy o understand how much they took care of the environment.They also use metro(that is always full) as more as possible,they prefere ecological means of carrying to cars reducing wastes and pollution) and they don't throw garbage to the ground,therefore everything is clean and in order.

Spanish understood that the secret for a goodlife is put at first their happiness,be relaxed and take life less seriously. It's a bit like the clock stopped after dinner and the hand started moving again the following moring...maybe are these the tricks of their kindness!!!

FOOD:

The coffee where we used to have dinner and breakfast was pretty nice and cosy...eating wasn't a problem because food was delicious, therefore the most difficult was adapting ourselves to the eating time: they usually have lunch at 2:30 or at 3 and they have dinner at 9:30...all the rest of the night was devoted to the "movida": they live it up and they are right!!!

TRADITIONS :

They are sticklers for thei roots...The glue that pools this nation are traditions and they try to preserve them in each way: the city is fraught of typical locals where you can listen spanish songs or watch exhibitions of "flamenco"( the local where we went was cute ,they played good music, the ticket was cheap and it was possible to drink things like sangria).

ARTISTICAL CITY

Madrid is a town of artistical interest too: each street corner hides an idyllic spot and 3 famous museums have their headquarters there. We visited them in 3 different days because they take a lot of time..

• The "Reina Sophia" is a modern art collection where there are works like guernica(a painting of 8 m painted only with black and white that is considered Picasso's masterpiece ) or famous pictures made by Dalì
• the" Thyssen-Bonermizsa(that maybe owing to the time we spent in it was the one i liked most) is spectacular because when you visit it and you look the paints you feel like someone is telling you a tale because works make a chronological threads.It arouse such a big interest that I couldn't help watching all the pictures one by one,without skipping anyone.
• the "Prado"(that we had visited the last day) is surely one of the most equip museums of the world thanks to his special collection that goes from the 14th century to the 17th.In fact it was so big that we visited only 15 or 20 rooms, but if one day I'll come back to Madrid I'll surely visit it twice because as far as it seemed to me it's worth...

EREMIDA OF SAINT ANTONIUS

A really nice thing was the "Eremida di Sant Antonio de la Florida", a little chapel totally painted by Goya in wich there is his shrine...before going there i was wondering about how much this little room could be beautifull and huge ,considering its fame.When we went there it was morning and i imagined i would see a high-ceilinged building painted of gold and full of statues..In a first time i didn't appreciate this little room. but when i lifted my eyes to the ceiling,the frescos left me breathless...

ATOCHA

The following day we went to Atocha, the quarter near the"triangolo artistico" in wich there is the most particular station i've ever seen...in fact the first floor is used as tropical garden,in wich there are tens and tens of insects and turtles...unluckily i didn't see any parrot .... °_°* what a pity!!! but nevertheless it was beautiful...

PALACIO REAL

In the evening we had also visited Palacio real the ex residence of the royal family...it was a similiar to a labyrinth...it lack just Minosse to be perfect but in exchange there were 2 gold statues lion-shaped crouched next to the throne!!!this room was lighted thanks to 3 enormous windows and around 20 mirrors that reflected light. it was also amazing because from the balcony you could see all the square and maybe it was this the place the king gave his speech from..another thing i was impressed by is the starway of white marble that enterings in high society covered to be admitted.I also thought about dances of ladies-in-waiting,about their dresses and the enigmatic and misterious mood...

IDEA OF ART

The best thing of all is that Spanish have a larger idea of art: they are able to appreciate performance of street artists with the same pleasure that they feel when they watch masterpiece like "Guernica" or Francisco Goya' s pictures..A really nice performance to wich we had the pleasure to watch was a spectacular with fire....

LANGUAGE:

what about language???it wasn't difficult but they answer you in spanish even if you ask questions in italian or english , but it was good because that's the only way to learn how to speak....

now that you ve seen how beautiful is don't you think i ' m right when i say i wanna come back???it' s impossible to forget...i can't find any other word to describe it...nothing else to say. just: Madrid we miss you!!!

Trip to **MADRID**

Hi guys!! The 29 of March i went , with my lovely classmates in Madrid,a very beautiful city in the centre of  Spain...I spent 5 amazing days even if  this trip was really hard because we walked a lot to see all of the museums and important buildings that everyone should see if he goes in a city as rich of culture as Madrid..But now i'm really pleased to tell everyone what happened in in this short/long  time..

The 29th of March rappresented  the beginnig of this amazing experience:I was really happy and i couldn't wait to go away from Italy..  We left it at 9:30 p.m and we arrived in Madrid's airoport at 11:50 pm..(maybe)..I spent a quiet fly because it was not the first time..

                                                           When we arrived there we were waiting for the arrival of the    bus                                           and            this was the view

    that appeared to our  eyes: we were finally in the long awaited Spanish

     territory..At the beginning i was a bit miffed because we didn't find the bus (but i think  i felt in this way just because i was  tired after the flight)..

While we were  going to the hotel that is in "calle de Atocha" i looked to what there was outside and in this  this moment  i realised i was in Madrid..When we arrived to the hotel the landlady gave us the respective keys for each group and so we settled there..As you can imagine we didn't sleep and we talked all the night..infact the next day i was really sleepy..When we left the hotel everything was better to see under the light of the sun:                           

Close to our hotel there was a little but welcoming restaurant where we always had   brekfast and dinner and here we ate  typical food like paella or tortillas the patatas..Every morning we ate a very good brekfast that gave us enought energies for all of the morning

The first day we saw a big place called "plaza mayor" where on the middle there's the statue of Filippo III of Spain.in this place  i brethed a theatrical  atmosphere because it was very very big..Then we went to the     "Royal chapel of St.Anthony of la Florida" where in the aspe Goya painted the Adoration of the Trinity..Later we visited the museum "Reina Sofia" where we saw lots of works of Salvador Dali' and Picasso..like Guernica for example..

                                                     We even saw the spectacular station of Atocha,that is not like the others  one but is full of trees, birds and a hundred of little or big  turtles ( i was really excited infact i've never seen something like  this)..The same  night i saw with my eyes what people feel when they see  a "flamenco" show in front of them..I saw how they put in passion, diligence, and they kept smiling even if dancing flamenco is not very easy.The same night we even tasted the tipycal drink ,the "Sangria".I must change my idea about hanging around in the night, infact it was not dangerous(surely if you don't got into troubles).However i tested how the "madrileños" like to stop for a bit  to enjoy something with their friends(thing that here is rare).

The next day whe saw the museum Thyssen-Bornemisza where we saw some works of the Renaissance,of the classic period,of the Flemish painting etc..

Then we saw the royal palace (i can't explain how beautiful  it is, there are lots of rooms and each of them has got a name that refers to the color of the walls or to his function  for example). Then we saw the "calle the arenal".

The 31 of March we saw the academy of St. Fernando that include works of Italian and Spanish teachers. Then we saw the "Fountain of Cibeles" that is the most important symbol of Madrid.We even saw The Hard Rock..where there are lots of guitars,  dresses , or just symbols of the biggers of the rock music and not only.The last day i was really sad because when i woke up i thought "Oh my God this is the last day in this beautiful city". Is that i really liked walking around the town, around the bigs and the small roads, and i really miss how people were kind to you..even if they were busy..Staying in Madrid showed me how people prefer to put first of all their hapiness,but never get tiring of their lifestyle or customs that they appreceate and valorize..
To conclude i really miss every single little thing of Madrid..and i hope i'll returne there soon..
